The princess of Argos, Danae, was locked up by her father Acrisio in a bronze tower and Jupiter, in order to possess her, turns himself into golden rain. This was the Greek myth that, since I was a young girl, has attracted me so much in its powerful erotic intensity. A god who, in order to love the segregated and languid princess, transforms himself into such a physical and precious form…gold… who knows what an irresistible desire…

Monsignor Della Casa wrote that Tiziano’s “nude in the painting was enough to bring the devil to the cardinal Saint Sylvester…”. I have dedicated the bracelets of this collection to the male erotic power of Jupiter and the sensual and excited Danae dressed only in jewels. They are made in faceted black jet ovals, bathed in black ruthenium or in the variant with black jet stones and crystal bathed in ruthenium wet.

Transfiguring the antique and making it current was a dream come true for me through the shape of this melted drop of resin designed a thousand times, realized in limitless variations of shiny and mat colour. It becomes a contemporary pearl at the lobe of whoever wants to imagine being a model of Tiziano.

Muses that surrounded him in the studios, rivals between each other pursuing the desire for immortality in order to be admired by eyes far away in time, with or without veils. These drops are inspired by the earrings in the painting “Portrait of a young woman with feathered hat” in the Hermitage museum in Saint Petersburg or by the “Girl in a fur” in the Kunsthistorisches Museum of Vienna, by the “Danae” of Capodimonte in Naples or by the “Venus of Urbino” in the Uffizi. These resin dangle earrings drop from the earlobes thanks to the hooks in rhodium plated silver or gold plated. The palette of possible colors is extensive: for this selection, turquoise, pink, glossy red and black mat.

Looking out of the windows of the paintings I searched and observed thousands and thousands of faces of men and women: pleasing, always very intense these journeys through more spaces and times, inside museums and galleries as if they were my home, inescapable appointments where I met commoners and noblewomen, kings and disinherited persons. Their faces, their human troubles, their passions, their clothes, their most precious belongings portrayed and handed down to posterity: this precious collar necklace is inspired by the jewel par excellence, and particularly by the Renaissance jewel that Tiziano’s models wore on their the candid and sensual necks. In this collection, dedicated to them, I realized a necklace of white pearls embellished with a golden fusion composite closure in crystals and resins with pearly shades of pastel colours of roses, light aquamarine, opal and light amethyst.
